Formula SAE

Formula SAE is a year-long competition which involves university teams throughout the world designing and constructing a formula style race car thus providing students invaluable experience in design, marketing and management.

2004 saw the birth of the University of Auckland Formula SAE team. The team set out with the goal of designing and building a competitive race car, with the goals of finishing all events, gaining rookie of the year and a top 10 finish.
