George FM in Auckland enjoyed a massive growth in listenership in 2001, and as a result, wanted to provide an alternative, more laid-back, relaxed music format for those times when all you want to do is chill. Lounge music was the go, and the leader of the lounge music Rat Pack was, off course, Frank.
The choice of station name wasn't that hard after all.
