Luke Smith in Crusty Canberra

We arrived in Canberra on Thursday and I was totally beat probably still getting over the big night we had before at the Dc party, so me and Mad Mike had a tame one! (Only 20 drinks ha ha)

Practice on Friday was a no go again due to the windy conditions, so me and a few of the boys decided to go on the hunt for fireworks as until last year they was legal in Canberra. After hunting around we found a old firework store now sex shop and managed to use our Crusty name and bribe them to give us all the fireworks they had left for some after party tickets.

When we got back to the hotel that's where the trouble really started!!!

I was on the 8th floor and Cam Sinclair was right over the other side on the 6th floor and we decided it would be a great idea to have a firework war with roman candles.Mid way through the shoot out i noticed Brooksy the track guy on the ground next to Mc Donald's and took a shot at him getting him good then what I thought was two security guards came running out from Mc Donald's waving there arms around! So I took around three shots at them just missing. Then to my horror the two security guards turned out to be cops and they was on there way up to my room! Great.

When they arrived upstairs I was ready to be handcuffed and taken away but yet again due to some sweet talking and them expecting this sort of behaviour from the Crusty crew I got off.

Saturday night's show went really well with around 11,000 people attending everybody rode so well and there were no crashes which was a first.

I came away really happy with how I rode all my tricks was fully extended and I managed to win the whip contest again with prob the biggest whip I have ever done I was nearly backwards I have attached a pic.

I am really enjoying my time on this tour I have made a great amount of new contact and it is opening allot of new doors in my career I feel my riding is reaching new levels due to riding with the worlds best.

This week I am in Sydney and going to try having a party free week, but we will see how long that lasts.
